There's an opaque, inky core to this wine that starts off with jammy plum and raspberry aromas, mixing with a sheen of iodine and spice. Initially, it's thick in feel on the palate, with flavors of prune, raisin and dried leaves, yet superracy acidity and bracing tannins roll across to clean it up. - Wine Enthusiast
