Trabucchi d’Illasi “Galante” Valpolicella 2015, DOC Valpolicella Superiore

The 2015 Galante is gorgeous.  The nose is intense, complex and layered, opening with coffee and then evolving to dried plum, eucalyptus, black pepper, morello cherry, black truffle and graphite.  The flavours on the palate are long and persistent with perfect balance between acid, alcohol and tannin.
