Capichera Vermentino di Gallura 2020

This is the icon wine of Capichera, the first bottling in 1980.  This is a white to be compared with the great whites of Italy and even internationally.  

Tasting note:  Straw yellow with hints of gold.  The nose is open and rich with complex notes of wild flowers, hawthorn, wisteria, rosemary, thyme, lavender, yellow fruits and flint.  The palate is dry with lively acidity.  Full body and mouthfeel with aromatic stone fruit.  The finish is long with vibrant acidity, minerality and mouth watering salinity.
